Update
Dear Supporter.
Thanks again for all your support. It’s much appreciated
I’ve produced some material in the last few weeks which you might find useful.
The first is a collection of photos from YES groups. Most of the ones shown were funded 50/50 by Scottish Independence Foundation SIF.scot and ourselves, Meidas Scotland.
The collection is in the form of a Flipbook which is online at https://online.fliphtml5.com/lgqra/nekm/#p=1
(Flipbooks are basically electronic books online you can flick through the pages)
As and when you get more photos, please send them to me by email. InverYESs, YES Elgin and GrassrootsOban are ‘leading the field’ so far.
The second piece of work is an online catalogue of most of Colin Dunn’s Independence related material. The work is ideal for using in a rebuttal situation, i.e the key benefit of this is to give you plenty of rebuttal messages you can use. All of Colin's artwork can be downloaded free from his website indyposterboy.scot
I’ve also put this on a Flipbook, online at https://online.fliphtml5.com/lgqra/yvms/index.html#p=1
The funding for the first campaign was made possible from donations made to our Meidas Scotland Crowdfunder, and a very generous match funding award from Scottish Independence Foundation SIF.scot
Our new Crowdfunder “FREE SCOTLAND FROM WESTMINSTER RULE” has raised almost £2,150 so far. SIF.scot might be prepared to support this campaign with further match funding, therefore it’s important that YES groups acknowledge SIF’s contribution to the first campaign was worth their investment.
Once again, The National has covered our new campaign and it’s objectives.

I now have a new budget for banners, Correx boards and stickers, so fresh applications from YES groups welcome.
New Initiatives
Two new ideas I’m looking at
Advan
I’ve costed up hiring an Advan similar to the one shown to tour some cities and towns. I’d need local volunteers at each city/town to assist taking photos, videos, drone videos, advising on best locations to drive past, driving duties and speaking with visitors. As I live in Aberdeenshire, I’d probably need B&B so any recommendations appreciated
What do you think?
Second Idea
I’ve costed up using Video Brochures similar to the one in this video clip

I propose setting up a pilot group of 5 YES groups and fund two of these Video Brochures per Group. Each brochure can have 6 videos loaded at a time. Each YES group decides on which videos they think are most appropriate that week and upload to the brochure. If they know of an ‘Undecided’ voter in their area, they leave this with them for say 2-3 days. After 3 days they collect the brochure after first having a chat with them, and repeat with other voters.
Clearly only having two brochures limits reach but extras can be provided. Brochures could be posted, but it defeats the opportunity for eye-to-eye discussion.
The videos on the brochure can be changed easily using a laptop or tablet, so any new rebuttal messages can be added or removed as often as you want.
A brochure typically costs £50 and can be used over and over again.
If you would like to take part in this pilot group please let me know quickly so i can order these. I’ll fully fund these so no cost to groups.
Finally, please follow Meidas Scotland on Bluesky, ‘X’ and Facebook for updates to our new Crowdfunder
