Who Are We?

We are a group of grass-roots Scottish independence supporters trying to bring together many existing Scottish media creators who support independence. Our intention is not to alter their work, but to replicate and highlight important information and provide news on a regular basis, backed by ‘Scotland Good’ stories and well researched articles in an organised manner.
Material will be updated every few days reflecting recent news, and each content provider will have an opportunity to provide a full profile and feature on a regular basis.
How does the Independence movement benefit from this?
Many Scots simply want to know whether an Independent Scotland is right for them. Finding information in a manner which educates and doesn’t insult is extremely hard, particularly in the uncontrolled social media space.
Free-Scotland.scot aims to deliver a respectful and dignified account of Scotland’s massive potential and general affairs through the work of established Scottish media creators, companies and organisations.
What’s the bigger picture?
There are many factors involved. Popular opinion is that decisions should be made by the Sovereign People of Scotland in the interim transition period to Independence when the Constitution is being formulated. By putting it in the hands of the people it takes the ruling out of the hands of politicians and rightly given to the people. By doing so, the decision is beyond dispute or challenge. In the constitution it should be stated that should there be a desire to change (criteria to be decided) then a further referendum can take place.

Should Scotland be a Republic or continue to support the Monarchy? Again, popular opinion is that the democratic and morally right thing to do is to be of the mindset ‘That will be for the Sovereign People of Scotland to Rule on'
'The Scottish People are Sovereign - they will rule on that issue' Simple. Says what it means.
An Independent Scotland can, will and should be decided by the Sovereign people of Scotland.
